The clients for this villa were very definite on what they wanted - key points in the brief were for a light filled, modern villa.

The unique design feature is the juxtaposition of the first floor which has been rotated through 45º over the L-shaped ground floor to enable sea views from the Master Bedroom and a balcony giving shade to the lounge area below. A double height atrium incorporates the staircase.

The impressive entrance to Villa Caracola is via a cube 'floating on a water bed'. The hall is a double-height atrium, from where the open-plan living area is accessed. A cantilevered staircase leads to the first floor with three en-suite bedrooms.
